Made by hand, one ring at a time
A chainmaille necklace takes patience and precision. Each piece is handcrafted from hundreds, sometimes thousands, of individual rings, carefully formed, woven, and closed by hand. A single necklace can take days to complete, making it one of my most intricate and rewarding creations.
I work in sterling silver and 14/20 gold filled, using different ring sizes to create distinctive textures and styles. Larger rings make a bold statement, while smaller rings create a finer, more delicate weave. Thoughtful finishing touches, from 22K gold accents to elegant toggle clasps and easy-to-use magnetic closures, make each necklace as beautiful to wear as it is to admire.
Every necklace arrives beautifully packaged in a Myriad gift box, complete with a polishing cloth, care instructions, and an anti-tarnish bag for sterling silver pieces.

Choosing your necklace
-
The Byzantine is my most-requested chain, and for good reason. Dense and rope-like, with a timeless, vintage feel, it catches the light beautifully and never goes out of style. Another classic is the Persian chain, known for its simple pattern, it also has an elegant hand. This chain is great for pendants or layering.
For a bolder look, the Serpentine is the statement piece of the collection. Its smooth, fluid weave twists gracefully with movement and is available in both mini and maxi versions. The Jens Pind offers a more delicate approach to chainmaille. Its intricate spiral pattern creates the appearance of a continuous twist, making it an elegant, understated choice and a lovely introduction to this ancient art. For effortless everyday wear, the Twisted Cable combines a lighter, more open weave with a chunky, contemporary look. Beautiful on its own, it's the kind of necklace you'll reach for again and again.
Each design is handcrafted in sterling silver, 14/20 gold filled, or a combination of both metals, depending on the weave.
Whether you're drawn to the elegance of a delicate chain or the impact of a bold statement piece, explore the collection and discover the weave that speaks to your personal style.

A beautiful necklace should evolve with you, not limit you to one length or style. Because chainmaille isn't soldered, I can add or remove rings to adjust almost any chain, from a delicate choker to a classic collarbone length or a longer style perfect for layering.
Simply choose your preferred length when ordering. If your style changes, send it back and I'll adjust it.
That's the lasting beauty of handmade jewelry, a necklace designed to fit your style today and for years to come.

Choosing the right necklace length makes all the difference in how it looks and feels.
As a general guide:
16 inches: Sits close to the base of the neck, ideal for petite frames and open necklines.
18 inches: Falls near the collarbone, a versatile length that complements most necklines.
20 inches: Sits just below the collarbone, perfect for layering or wearing with higher necklines.
22–24 inches: Falls toward the upper chest, making it an excellent choice for sweaters, tunics, and maxi dresses.
Heavier weaves like Serpentine often look and feel best at 16–20 inches, while lighter weaves can be worn longer for a graceful drape.
Not sure which length is right for you? Tell me your height, preferred neckline, and how you plan to wear your necklace. I'll help you choose a length that complements your style and fits comfortably.
These lengths are approximate; the exact placement depends on your neck size, frame, and the chain's thickness.

The right clasp adds both style and convenience. Most necklaces feature a matching sterling silver or 14/20 gold filled clasp. Select designs include a decorative gold filled toggle that can be worn in front, or a magnetic clasp for easier fastening.
Prefer a different clasp? Just ask, and I'll help you choose the best option.

Every chainmaille necklace begins with hundreds of individual metal jump rings, woven together one ring at a time. Each ring is carefully opened, linked into an intricate pattern, and closed by hand. Nothing is fused or soldered. The beauty lies in the precision of the weave, creating a chain that moves like fabric yet has the strength and character of metal. It's an ancient art transformed into wearable jewelry, handcrafted to last and designed to evolve with you. Explore the collection and choose a distinctive, handcrafted necklace that reflects your personal style, one you'll treasure for years to come.

One of the unique benefits of handmade chainmaille is its flexibility. Because the rings aren't soldered, I can add or remove them to adjust the length of almost any necklace. Whether you're ordering a new piece or updating one you've treasured for years, your necklace can evolve with your style.

The right length depends on your neckline, personal style, and the weight of the chain.
16 inches: Sits at the base of the neck for a close, elegant fit.
18 inches: Falls near the collarbone, a versatile everyday length.
20 inches: Rests below the collarbone, ideal for layering.
22–24 inches: Falls toward the chest, perfect for sweaters and higher necklines.
Exact placement varies with neck size, body proportions, and chain thickness.

A sterling silver or 14/20 gold filled clasp matched to the chain is standard. Some sterling silver necklaces feature a complementary gold toggle clasp as a decorative design element. For easier fastening, I also offer magnetic clasps on select designs. Many longer necklaces require no clasp at all, slipping comfortably over the head and making them ideal for effortless layering.
The gold spiral twist necklace is beautifully elegant and versatile, making it very capable of being worn solo for a strikingly polished look. Its unique design allows it to stand out on its own, adding a touch of sophistication to any outfit.
