Made by hand, one ring at a time
Discover the beauty of handcrafted chainmaille. Each bracelet is created ring by ring in sterling silver, 14/20 gold filled, or a striking combination of both, creating jewelry that feels fluid on the wrist while remaining beautifully durable.
From the rich, dimensional Byzantine to the clean simplicity of the 2-in-2 and the intricate Persian weave, each design has its own distinctive texture and character. Wear one as a statement or layer several for an elegant mixed-metal stack.
Every bracelet can be altered for a comfortable, custom fit and arrives beautifully packaged in a Myriad Designs gift box with a polishing cloth. Sterling silver pieces also include an anti-tarnish storage bag.
Handcrafted. Distinctive. Made to fit you.
Choosing Your Bracelet
-
Byzantine is dense and rope-like, catches the light from every angle, and is a medium weight depending on the size of the jump ring and the wire gauge. It is easily the everyday bracelet you never take off, and the one people come back for.
Persian is larger in circumference but sits close to the wrist and is medium weight, so it wears well under a cuff or alongside a watch.
2 in 2 is open and simple, often recommended for a charm bracelet. Ideal for stacking or as a first chainmaille bracelet. I’m calling my newest 3 in 2 heavy gauge bracelet The Pickleball Bracelet. It can be worn alone and makes a statement piece on the court.
The Spiral Twist is a good stand-alone bracelet. It is gorgeous in gold.
Jens Pind is the smallest chainmaille weave, especially if its made with 2.5mm jump rings. I usually make the bracelets with larger jump rings so they hold up next to the other patterns to complete your layered look.
I make all five weaves in sterling silver, 14/20 gold-filled, or both together. If you're not sure which suits you, send me a message, and I'll point you to the right piece.
-
Chainmaille stacks beautifully because every weave has its own texture and weight. Pair a slim 2 in 2 with a Byzantine, or wear silver and gold together on the same wrist. Because each bracelet is made to your measurements, a stack sits comfortably instead of sliding over itself. If you're building a stack over time, tell me which bracelets you already have, and I'll size the next one to sit well beside them.
-
Wrap a piece of string or a tape measure snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone, then add about half an inch for comfortable movement. It’s really a matter of personal preference. The clasp can make a difference, too. If the piece comes with a toggle clasp, you want it a little snug, whereas with a lobster clasp you may need a little more room to connect. Let me know, and I'll advise.
-
A chainmaille bracelet is made from individual metal jump rings woven by hand into a repeating pattern. Nothing is fused or soldered. Each ring is opened, linked and closed by hand, which gives the chain its flexibility and weight, and lets me adjust the length or fit at any time.
-
No, they are not the same. I consider 14/20 gold filled a meaningful quality feature. Our gold pieces are created with 14/20 gold-filled metal, not ordinary gold plating. Gold-filled material contains a substantial layer of genuine 14K gold permanently bonded to a metal core, with the gold comprising 1/20 of the material's total weight. This makes it considerably more durable and resistant to wear than traditional gold plating, an especially important distinction in handcrafted chainmaille jewelry, where individual rings move gently against one another.
-
Yes. Any bracelet you see in sterling silver can be made in 14/20 gold. Message me with the piece you like, and I'll confirm the price and timing.
-
I change the look of each weave simply by changing the size of the rings and the gauge of the wire. This is part of my creative process. Smaller rings give a fine, delicate chain; larger rings give something bolder with more movement. The same Byzantine pattern can look delicate or substantial depending on my design.
-
Sterling silver will develop a soft patina over time. Keep it in the anti-tarnish bag it comes with when you're not wearing it, and give it a rub with the polishing cloth now and then. 14/20 gold filled holds its color for years of daily wear and needs very little beyond an occasional wipe.
-
Yes. Because every pattern is built on a two-ring connection and nothing is soldered, I can add or remove rings at any time to change the length. Send it back to me and I'll resize it.

A single bracelet can take up to four hours and several hundred jump rings before it reaches the tumbler for cleaning and polishing. Pieces shown in the shop are usually ready to ship within a few days; custom orders that include metal changes take a little longer, and I can provide an estimate for any special order.
